Salman Khan returned to the screen as Agent Avinash Singh Rathore for the fourth time, and the scale of Tiger 4 is unlike anything seen in Indian cinema before. Shot across Mumbai, Istanbul and the Scottish Highlands, the YRF production has transformed Bollywood's action grammar.

Our photographers gained rare access to the Goregaon Film City set, where a recreation of a Middle Eastern bazaar spanning three acres was constructed specifically for one chase sequence. The 58-year-old superstar completed the sequence in a single take, drawing a standing ovation from a crew of over 400 people.

Away from the set, candid frames capture Salman in quieter moments — reviewing choreography notes, sharing a laugh with director Maneesh Sharma, and performing the customary pre-shot prayer that has become his trademark ritual across four decades of filmmaking.

Co-star Katrina Kaif, returning as Zoya, was photographed in a series of intense rehearsal sessions that showed a physical transformation to rival Salman's own — the result of nine months of training with a specialist stunt coordinator flown in from the United States.

Tiger 4 is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release and is tracking to become the highest-grossing Indian film ever produced. These 32 photographs offer the most intimate look yet at the making of what may be Bollywood's most ambitious project.
