Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been a global icon long enough that the description has become inadequate. These 25 photographs from 2026 — spanning six countries, two continents and a range of contexts that few public figures could sustain — attempt to capture the full dimensionality of one of India's most consequential cultural exports.

The Hollywood frames show what the world already knows: Priyanka at the Oscars in a Sabyasachi creation that stopped conversation on every red carpet she walked. Priyanka at the Met Gala in a commission from a young Mumbai designer she insisted on championing. Priyanka accepting the Global Citizen Award in New York, her speech interrupted eleven times by applause.

The UNICEF photographs are something else. Taken in eastern Chad during a humanitarian mission that her team asked us not to publicise until she had left the country, they show Priyanka sitting on the floor of a makeshift classroom with children displaced by conflict — not performing empathy but actually present in it, her attention absolute.

The home photographs — taken in Los Angeles with Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti — are warm, chaotic and entirely real. Malti, now three, steals every frame she appears in. Priyanka does not try to reclaim them.

Twenty-five photographs. One woman who has refused, at every stage of a career that spans 25 years, to be defined by a single role, a single country or a single idea of what she is supposed to be.
