CBSE Board Results 2026: Class 10 and 12 Marks to Be Declared by April 15 — Direct Link to Check
The Central Board of Secondary Education has confirmed that results for both Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations will be released by April 15, 2026. Over 38 lakh students are awaiting their results.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that the results for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2026 will be declared by April 15, with results likely to be announced on different days. Over 38 lakh students who appeared in the examinations conducted between February 15 and March 28 are eagerly awaiting their marks.
CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta told reporters that the evaluation process is 'on track' and that all answer sheets have been collected and distributed to examiners. He said the board will first announce Class 12 results, followed by Class 10 results within 2-3 days. Results will be available on cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in and digilocker.gov.in.
This year, 22.5 lakh students appeared for Class 12 board exams across 7,500 examination centres in India and abroad. The Class 10 examination saw participation of 15.7 lakh students. The pass percentage in 2025 was 88.4% for Class 12 and 93.1% for Class 10.
For the first time, CBSE is providing result SMS alerts to students who registered their mobile numbers. Students can also download their digital mark sheets from DigiLocker instantly after results are announced. Physical mark sheets will be distributed through schools within 30 days.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation within 15 days of the result announcement. The fee for rechecking has been revised to Rs 500 per subject. Students who fail can appear for the compartment examination, which will be held in July 2026.
